Question about Von Willebrand disease? |
I was wondering if any doctors or people with Von Willebrand disease know if it is not recommended to drink alcohol. i have it. it's fine to drink alcohol. the only warnings my doctors have given me is to not use any blood thining medication, so basically only use tylenol. alcohol has no affect on the disorder. it is only a blood clotting disease, meaning that when you get cut you bleed alot more or bruise easier because it takes alot longer for your blood to clot. |
