*Home>>>von Willebrand

I've been on micronor for 6 months and first had my period twice a month. Now I have it every week with 3 days

of not having it, then I start again. It is heavy bleeding and bright red. I have von willebrand disease so my ob/gyn said that I can't have a birth control pill that has estrogen in it. I'm very concerned. She said she was going to check and see if I can have estrogen, but she still hasn't told me. Has anyone had this problem?

No, I've not had this problem but I would recommend getting back in touch with your doctor's office and ask to speak to the nurse to find out if the doctor has an answer yet on the estrogen issue.

In the mean time here's the link to a site that may help you find more information: http://forums.obgyn.net/womens-health
