Why is my old scar hurting me now?

i am 15.at the age of 8 a shandaleir fell and cut my uper arm.it was glued not stitched closed.it cut through musle and fat .it was about a 2 inches wide and long opening.i dont know how deep .but i was very deep cause it left a full tawal driping.but that could be from my von willebrand's dises.doctors took x-rays to see if there was glass left in it .there was not.for some odd reson my scar gives me random shocks of pain that i have never had before.i told my mother and she said it was fine but it dont feel fine.any reson why it is hurting me .

Scar tissue, when it heals, can attach itself to other tissue, like muscle, fat, nerves, etc. It's called an adhesion. It's not usually serious, and doctors usually only opt to fix it if it causes major pain or disruption of your normal activities.
The only thing they can do to fix it is try to surgically remove the scar tissue, but only your dr can decide if that would be beneficial.....because surgery of any kind carries risks that may outweigh the benefits, and could cause MORE scar tissue.

It's because your scar is not done heeling. It will take some time.

There's nothing wrong my old scars hurt from time to time as well. I also brok my arm when I was 14, im 21 now and it will still ache really bad on certain days. It may have to do with stress. There are so many different ideas of what causes old scars to ache, some people even say the weather.
