Zinc tablets? |
is it ok if i take two 22mg zinc tablets to make it 44mg? That is OK as you are still well below the danger or overdose level of 80 mg per day. Over 50 mg of zinc per day is perhaps a bit too much yes You can actually take too much of a supplement which can be as bad if not worse in some cases than taking too little. One if the signs that you are taking too much zinc will manifest itself by giving you a metallic taste in your mouth. Also, there are some supplements and medications that contraindicate the use of a zinc supplement. Zinc is good for colds and for skin conditions but, as with anything good in life too much is not healthy. |
