Take zinc and you won't stink?

Can zinc stop body odor?

how long till it "kicks in"

please give as more info as possible...thank you!

Only to a very limited extent.

A good internal deodorant is chlorophyll and deodorising talc is a good external deodorant.

Increasing Zinc is a great way to fight body odor, but some odors are bacterial and can be taken care of through hygiene. Over weight or obese persons can use Dandelion leaf and root for this and you can also add B-12, B-6 (absorbic acid) to enhance the effect.
Also spearmint goat milk soap is excellent for bacterial odor and combats sweating alot. It also helps keep the body cool. Keep in mind that spicy foods, garlic and parsley induce sweating because they help clean the lymphatic system to remove toxins from the body.

Note: Vitamin B-12 and Vitamin B-6 are NOT ascorbic acid!!!!! Vitamin B-12 is chemically known as cyanocobalamin (and it is NOT particularly well taken up when taken by mouth. It is much better to get B-12 shots or to use it nasally or sublingually (under the tongue). Vitamin B-6 is chemically known as pyridoxine. Vitamin C is chemically known as ascorbic acid. It should be also noted that just as Vitamin B is a complex of many chemicals, so is Vitamin C (Vitamin C includes such bioflavonoids as rutin, hesperidin, quercitin, etc. and many, many others). So this is to say it is not JUST ascorbic acid.

People: (You, particularly in this last post, Dandelion) let's not be lazy and irresponsible here. If you're going to give advice a) MAKE SURE your facts are correct. (and your grammar, too, please, to eliminate misunderstandings.) b) Do your own damn reseach. Make sure what you're telling people is the exact honest truth, or shut up! If you're going to give advice, you have a responsibility to know what you're saying is true or to check it! (I also believe deeply that we have a responsibility to spell it correctly, especially if we're using chemical names.) Otherwise, you could be responsible for grievously injuring someone.

It is important to not overdo it on the zinc. Take no more than 80-100mg per day from all sources, including foods, as zinc can be toxic and can also suppress your copper uptake. Less if you're a kid.

Sorry to harsh you, Dandelion, and any other folks, but the amount of misinformation/potentially harmful information on this site is getting to me!

Dude, you keep asking this same question over & over! Are you obsessed with zinc & stinkiness? Just bathe regularly & use deodorant! If you really want to know about zinc then ask your doctor!

take a bath and you wont stink.

garlic salt from your hand is good for that at least i know it works fer me''
