Is it true that if you take Zinc pills, you can get smarter? |
ok. so, I heard this myth about if you take Zinc, your brain will react to it, thus making the brain smarter, and think faster, etc. Is this true? I saw this on Kron 4 News, but I didn't see the whole thing, so I don't know the details to it. But I know that they said Zinc helps your brain a lot. Is it true that if you take zinc pills you get smarter? I dont know about smarter but the rumor I heard about zinc is that you never catch a cold if your are a zinc user. No, try ginko yeah its true http://jn.nutrition.org/cgi/content/full... no take more amway products. I don't think there is a pill to make anyone smarter. You get smarter by learning--plain and simple. Apply your brain power. Sure. Go to the drugstore, buy some zinc pills, and you're on your way to the Nobel prize! Oh yeah--don't forget some green tea so you can lose all that bodyfat too! it also says it will make your little head bigger, maybe it will make your big head smarter. but what are you going to do with it?? you have the brain or you don't, Zinc is called the "growth" mineral - but that doesn't mean it's just for kids. Zinc is essential at every state of life for growth and development. Quite possibly! Yes. A study was done recently that showed that performance was improved for the test group versus the group that did not get a zinc supplement. This is not really surprising since zinc has been used for some time now for people that suffer from Alzheimer's disease, and it is well known that zinc boosts many enzyme systems. But don't expect much of an IQ boost. Mostly it will make your thinking a little clearer, and you may feel your mind is a little sharper. By the way it seems to work for all ages. Best dose appears to be about 25mg Zinc per day with 1mg Copper per day. |
