I heard semen has significant amounts of zinc and protein, could over ejaculation cause depletion of these?

I am suffering from hair loss and wonder if I should cut down on sex masturbation.I ejaculate 2-3 times a week.

There are a lot of articles that say that low levels of zinc cause higher DHT levels and that causes hair loss.

I know that semen has some zinc and proteins so Im think if I should abstain from sex and masturbation for a while?

~I have never heard that, but if you're worried, stop it. Or, you can take vitamins?~

Wearing a hat will not cause hair loss. Report It

NO, there is a small amount of proteins in semen but not a lot. Plus the body produces a constant supply of semen (semen dies inside your body constantly and does not last forever inside of you once it is produced). Most dead semen is expelled durring urination (which cannot inpregnate a woman). Ideally no matter if you masturbate or not your body will produce semen on a constant rate.

You may only be suffering from hair migration. Have you checked your palms to see if hair is starting to grow?

LMAO!!! Your joking right?? No sweetie....it's not possible to masturbate enough to deplete anything.....so no reason to change your routine. Have at it.....

I do not beat my pud, but I do have a very active sex life and I still have a full head of hair covering my dome, but I also eat right, eating a lot of seafood, such as shellfish, raw oysters and swim in the ocean every morning. When I am outdoors, especially in the hot summer months, I never wear any type of a hat, or a ball cap, as I have noticed that guys that wear hats most of their lives, usually start going bald at a young age, because the covering over their head blocks the pores in the scalp from breathing, causing the hair follicles to die.

You might try eating jello a lot, as I have been told that this helps to prevent hair loss in both men and women.

I would recommend that you quit beating the little guy to death, and start introducing him to the more natural way of living by getting an active girlfriend who loves sex, and eating raw oysters, shellfish, fresh flounder, any kind of fish for that matter, not wearing any hats when outdoors (depending on where you live in the world), getting plenty of fresh air and enjoying your life.
Hope this helps you, it works for me, and I am 57 going on 39!

Zinc is concentrated in the semen so a lot of ejaculating can lead to a zinc deficiency which can lead to hair loss. Take a zinc supplement if your diet is not high in zinc.

No. Ejacualtion has nothing to do with hair loss. Even if it did, what you ejaculate is an insignificant amount of protein. Hair loss (male pattern baldness) is mostly associated with heredity. There is a medication that could help you. It's called Propecia and it's available only by prescription. Good luck.
