Also the international yellow fever certificate only becomes valid 10 days after your injection, so allow plenty of time before your holiday to arrange vaccination. Other recommended vaccinations are Hepatitis A (and possibly B), typhoid and tetanus. Also be aware of malaria risk, although it is minimal in the area of the canal, but check if you are visiting other areas of the country.Your best source of up-to-date advice is your local travel clinic. |
