Yellow fever vaccine?

I am allergic to egg white and it is present in the vaccine as a feed so I can not take a shot. Is there any other alternate available? need to travel to "Kenya"

I don't believe there is an alternative. Depending on how bad your reactions are you may want to look at going ahead with it. I wouldn't get any vaccine, but since you are traveling it is needed. I hope this helps a little.

As Kenya requires a yellow fever vaccination certificate, you will have to have a physician's note. Also, when you go make sure you wear bug spray! Otherwise, your trip could be fatal. Consider not going.

Also, make sure that you are REALLY allergic. Usually people who can eat eggs in foods (breads, etc) tolerate the vaccine quite well. Also, if you have received influenza vaccine and tolerated it well, you can tolerated the yellow fever vaccine.

I would ask your doctor. It would depend I suppose, as to how allergic you are to the egg whites... is it a serious life-threatening reaction, or just a mild one ?
Your doctor can probably advise you on the best course of action, so make sure you speak to him well in advance of your trip.
