How does yellow fever avoid antibodies?

How does yellow fever avoid antibodies?

Yellow fever is a virus that is transmitted mostly by mosquitoes. They don't avoid antibiotics, it is just that antibiotic only work on bacteria. You would have to have an anti-viral agent. That is why it is recommended to keep a bottle of iodine with you for mosquito bites. Iodine has an anti-viral quality that if applied to bite immediately can block the virus. Of course, iodine is an antiseptic so fights off bacteria, also.
