Is it alright to have a yellow fever vaccine ,when you are currently taking a penicillin antibiotic? consult a Doctor who will look on a big chart for compatibility or pull some gem from his intellect and say yes or no,.... You need to call and ask your doc about this. Usually vaccines are not given when you are on antibiotics for an infection but that is something you should ask your doc. It is alright to administer the vaccine while on PENICILLIN intakes. However, it is recommended that you minimize such simultaneous intake of the vaccine and antibiotics to avoid antibiotics-induced allergic reations. |
