What is the difference between dengue & yellow fever?

What is the difference between dengue & yellow fever?

Even though both Dengue and Yellow fever are caused by some genus of the Flaviviridae virus, and are usually spread by the same mosquito. The big difference seems to be in the amount of joint pain that people with Dengue suffer from, it is sometimes referred to as break-bone fever or bonecrusher disease. Where as Yellow fever is usually muscle pain with backache. Also with Dengue, there platelette count will drop until there fever returns to normal. For more information I have listed my resources. Cheers.
