Yellow fever virus predominantly affects the liver and causes abdominal pain with bleeding from mouth and nose in later stages. The best way to prevent this dreadful disease is to vaccinate yourself from time to time.

Yellow fever or jaundice is where the liver produces too much a of chemical billirubin. In new born infants it is quite normal for them to have jaundice but in adults or older children it is a sign of hepatic (liver) dysfunction.

Some of the symptoms include: headache, shivers, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting and proteinurea (protein the urine)
