Treating Yeast Infections while on Antibiotics...? |
I was told that sometimes antibiotics can cause yeast infections due to one reason or another... no u can take it or ask the dr. for the new tablet yes you can use these at the same time. you may have to repeatthe yeast inf. drug. you can also get probiotics at the health food store to help you body cope with the antibiotic and prevent yeast infections I'm sure that if you called your doctor's office, they would tell you the answer to this question. Don't go by an answer that may or may not help you. I'm not sure if you can take them together. But your gyno could perscribe you Diflucan. the best thing for you to do is to consult an OB/GYNE. consult a professional. they know more about those things than anyone do. avoid using over the counter medications especially when you are not sure of their side effects. You can, but it's better to wait until you stop the antibiotics. |
