Make the yeast infections go away!?

I get yeast infections very often (usually once a month), everything I read on the internet says this is no normal, etc. I have tried two doctors so far (one was my doctor for years and I recently switched) and neither seems that concerned about it. I was starting to wonder if maybe it was something else but I was told by my new doctors office that it is definitely yeast. I do not have HIV or any other virus that can weaken my immune system. I do not think I have blood sugar problems but I am going in tomorrow for blood work. I eat at least one yogurt a day, I have the AZO for yeast infections, and I have taken the Primal Defence vitamins too. I do not wear silk panties, I let it dry out good before getting dressed after a bath/shower, etc. I am not on birth control and my husband don't have the infection so he is not transferring it to me. Any suggestions/advice? I just treated the most recent one Friday and I was fine over the weekend, but it seems to be coming back already.

I have taken the pill and it works but I still get an infection the following month. I have had cultures taken of the yeast and it always comes back as yeast and nothing else, no STD's.

if you're on antibiotics that will cause frequent yeast infections. I do remeber my mom used to get chronic yeast infections....I think the dr. may be able to prescribe a stronger dose of medicine than the over the counter stuff thats available. good luck

Double check with a good Dr. and make sure it is yeast. Get a vaginal culture done to rule out anything else including stds. Only a culture is going to determine beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is yeast. If it really is, have your Dr. prescribe the one pill treatment called Diflucan.

I have read several times that getting rid of the panties completely can help with frequent yeast infections. Nature didn't design your vagina to be sealed shut with a cotton pad ya know.
