Yeast infections from Yasmin?

I've taken Yasmin the birth control all my high school years. A couple months into taking the pill I started getting yeast infections. They started coming once every couple of months and increased to one every 3 weeks. I was disguisted so I stopped taking it and the infections stopped totally. I'm at a good place in my life right now and I don't want to get pregnant with my husband for a couple of years but I don't want to rely on just condoms alone. Does anyone know an effect well-known pill with little side effects.

I also tried depoprovera, I was on my period for 110 days because of that crap.

Have you considered depo provera shots...only need to take the shot every 3 months. Maybe you just need a lower dose of the pill...call you dr. Take care.

check up with your doctor, they can help you best

Yaz I believe.. sadly my Girlfriend just got a Yeast infection yesterday on it..It was her first time getting it too.. been on it for some time

a birth control pill called Yaz

there are commericals on it and ads in some magazines for it

ive been on it for a couple months now and i have had no side effects

i really like it.

Ummm go get that checked out n get up off the intenet with that stop tellin all of your bussiness.........

Lo-Ovral is a good one with no side effects. Ortho-Cyclin is also a good one. I've heard bad things abour Yaz and Loestrol even though they advertise short & light periods. Your best bet is to talk to your OB about what is best for your needs. Good luck to you.

Wow, I'm sorry Yasmin isn't working out for you. I've been on it for 2 years and found that it's the best for me. But I guess it's not for everyone. However, I have taken 2 other pills. I took Seasonal (before it was renamed to Seasonique) and it was fine. Before that I started birth control on OrthoTriCyclen. I just found Yasmin controlled most of my problems with zits and irritability. But you should really talk to your doctor about what's best for you - or at least a different one from whoever prescribed Yasmin if they recommended that.
