Recurrent yeast infections diabetic sex partner...?

Does anyone know if having an uncircumcised, diabetic sex partner would cause a female to have recurrent yeast infections? Common sense would say yes but I would like to hear your answers. My boyfriend does not test his blood sugar nor does he take his insulin on a regular basis. I know he said he has yeast if he does not use hydrogen peroxide to clean his penis. When I treat my infection I am okay until we have sex again. Could we be passing it back and forth?

If he is diabetic and he has not been keeping his blood sugar levels in check he may have an over growth of yeast in his body. This could give him the yeast infection (yes, man can have it. i.e. jock itch ect.) uncircumsized men tend to pass bacteria more easily because fluids ect. get lodged beneath the foreskin. You can pass it back and forth easily. You both need to be completely clear of symptoms before you are sexually active again. Good Luck.

You are most definitely passing it back and forth. You need to get tested, it could be chlamydia. It that's the case- both of you will need to be treated.

it could be that you are passing it back and forth or it could be that you have something other than an yeast infection (like bacterial vaginosis which has the almost the same symptoms). you need to see your dr. to find out for sure.

well hun, if he has yeast and then you get it, obviously he keeps giving it to you. tell him to wash that thing more often and to take better care of himself so that you can stay healthy too. yes he is your bf, and I'm sure he's great, but this is a matter of hygiene. keepin it clean keeps you clean.

Yes and dump the chump. If he does not take care of himself why would he care about you? It is not because he is diabetic that he is ill and dirty, it is because he is lazy - for whatever reason. Are you that desperate?

On the side, I used to get yeast infections when I used latex condoms. What a way to learn of an allergy :-(
