Looking for sites that show x-rays.? |
My x-rays came back of my Femur and showed bad things. Adding to say. The x-ray needs to show what the femur would look like years later after a steel rod was removed. My leg was broken over 15 years ago and my rod has been gone that long. My first x-ray of my femur the other day shows many things wrong but they are saying it might be from wear I had the rod. I need to verify this. That is why need other x-rays to compare against. Found numerous web sites for what you are looking for! unfortunately with all the images of normal femur xrays and even with xrays of femur with rods in them, it'd be exceedingly difficult for you to assess what is going on with your own femur. the rods we use today are nothing like the ones used 15 years ago. your femur in all likelihood will not look like a "normal" one on xray, however, that doesn't mean that it won't function well. the most important factors to assess the femur are angulation (straight or crooked), length (healed in a shorter position), and maybe rotation. |
