How do you know if you had to many x_rays?

I had an x-ray or ct scan or mri done all over my body, I could say I had over 100 in the past 2 yr..is it the x-rays thats making me more sicker

You cannot determine the answer to that on your own. Moreover, MRI does not involve ionizing radiation as do CT scanning and standard x-ray procedures.

There is always a trade-off when procedures involving ionizing radiation are needed. The good news is that technic and advances in image recording have cut the exposure of every patient to that ionizing radiation very dramatically over the past 30 years. Diagnostic imagery is almost never implicated as causative in illness these days. That includes people who have had far more exposure than you have over the same time period.

Bottom line: all of us in the licensed health professions are well aware of the risks involving human exposure to ionizing radiation and we take our responsibilities regarding your safety very, very seriously. After all, we and our loved ones get sick too, and we certainly don't want them, or ourselves, harmed by careless use of imaging technology. And science keeps on looking for better, more efficient means of diagnosing illness all the time. So don't fear your exposure to x-rays; they're not likely to have been what makes you feel less well.

When you start glowing in the dark would be a good sign. They are careful about how much radiation your body takes in.The reason you are getting sicker is cause your worried about how much radiation you have had.

If 100 times in the past 2 years, that is a lot. I think you should to talk to your doctor about it.

However, just for common knowledge MRI (Magnetic resonance imaging) does not use xrays or radiation. It's a magnetic device, so that's okay and plus you see better with MRI scans.
