Will an inflammatory type arthritis show up on plain x rays if it is just inflammatory no joint damage yet????

will inflammation show up on plain x rays???

X-rays do show inflammation. For instance, a chest x-ray is taken to check if there is any inflammation in the lungs. I would think that an x-ray will be able to detect arthritis.

Xrays can show arthritis.

I have just had some X-rays that showed it in my C5-C7 vertebrae.
