Hard time recovering from a wrist injury? |
I fell and broke the scaphoid bone my wrist this past august. After having the cast removed I was still in alot of pain so my orthopedist suggested I try PT for 6 weeks since the xrays showed that nothing was wrong. Well I am into my 3rd week of PT and I am still in pain, my range of motion is terrible and now there is cracking and popping going on(all of this even with the physical therapist making my wrist bend when it doesn't want to). First is this a normal part of the healing and if not someone please help me, I can't take the pain, the lack of sleep and the inability to fully use this hand again because it is so weak. Well I am in a similar situation, my cast was removed 4-5 weeks ago now, at first it was very painfull and I was told this was normal. |
