What type of injury do I have with my wrist?

I'm not sure what it is, a sprain, dislocation, fracture or what. But I'll try to give some details and hopefully someone will be able to tell me (I'm going to the doctor on Wednesday).

How it happened: Tried to push someone on a two-wheeler forklift thing, held onto the top using an overhand grip with my left hand, underhand grip with my right hand, when I tipped the thing over the person on it lost balance, and my right hand bent backwards and we both heard a popping sound.

How it feels: The pain at first wasn't too bad, but it got worse as the night went on, and when I woke up this morning it was very stiff and sore. It hurts most to try and rotate it, but I can bend it forward and backward carefully. I can't lift anything over a few pounds with it.

What it looks like: There is absolutely no swelling. The bone that sticks out on the outside appears to be a little elevated (slightly at most) compared to my right wrist bone (which is why I think it may be dislocated).

I have a wrist support around it now and that helps a little because it isn't so free to move. But I can still use all of my fingers and my hand normally, and do simple things like type, pick up light objects, squeeze...just any heavy movements like picking up something heavy, or opening a heavy door, or anything that involves rotating my wrist (intentionally or not, like putting on my jacket or backpack) cause pain. The greatest pain is when my wrist rotates. The pain is really centered around the bone that sticks out on the side of your wrist, as if it's not in the right place.

I have broken my other wrist before, and it felt much different - extreme swelling, greatly decreased hand movement, and it hurt when I wasn't moving it or anything.

you may have fractured your wrist because of the way you were pushing the forklift it may not have the balance to hold two people on it and maybe that's why it might be hurting right now...
