Wrist Sprain: How long does it take to fully heal? |
I got a Grade 1 wrist sprain from a gym injury. Particularly when I was working on my biceps. It probably happened while I was lifting the bar. This is the first time this happened to me. People vary, but you might be looking at 4-6 weeks, perhaps longer. You're doing the right thing, but yes ibuprofen will help with the inflammation and also keep the wrist elevated as much as possible, try to use a sling, that will keep the arm and thus the wrist, angled above the level of your heart, this will speed healing up. |
