Ankle and wrist weights!(helps plz)?


I have been looking through yahooanswers and decided that the pro's outways the con's.
But since everyones weight is different i want your guys opinions on whether its "to heavy" or if i am doing somthing wrong.
i am 13 years old
and i plan to wear the weights for 6-8 hours (school)
During P.E i will take them off to avoid injury.
on both wrists 1lb-2lb
and on both ankles 2lb

Is this smart?

building muscle and weight loss
for football

why would you wear the weights for the whole day? i think walking with weights is fine but not for an entire day-why exactly are you doing this?
