Overdose again?

I had another over dose last night. No one listens to what I have to say. I have just been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and commenced a new anti depressant 3 months ago. I have been on A/D since I was 15 I am now 23 so I have figured out they dont work. I have an impulsion now to over dose I know I need probably an admission to hospital but because I am asking for it the hospitals are refusing me. I am worried I will cut my wrists next. I just want to get through to these people that I cannot control this disease or contain myself at home. What can I say or do to make them understand?

You can't make anyone understand, that's for you to do for yourself by talking to people who have the same disorder, trust me, it works, cheers.

they do have self admitting rehab clinics try that if no one is listening take it upon urself to make urself better

i have bi polor. i just take my meds. have you been in a hospital. if not you should conciter it. plz dont abuse your drugs if you want help its right there in a bottle in front of you. you keep doing this ppl are going to think your crazy!!! take care of your self!!!

Knowing you have a problem is the first step in getting better. Do you have a trusted friend or relative that you can talk to? If not, there are hotlines that you can call. Good luck and don't do anything bad to yourself. ((hugs))

The hospitals cannot turn you down if you say that you are a danger to yourself or another person! Call them and tell them that you are worried for your own health and safety, and possibly the safety of others, as you are very unstable. If they still do not listen to you, then ask them what it will take to realize that you need help??
If this happens, then get someone else (a friend or family member) to call the hospital and make a recommendation that you need to be admitted for your own safety. If more then 4 people give reasonable recommondation for your admission, then they cannot turn you down.
If they still turn you down, then contact the nearest mental health clinic, and book an appointment to speak with a therapist. After talking to you, they will either reccomend that you be admitted, or that you will be fine with the help of new drugs.

Best of luck. Remember, the world is always brighter when you smile :)

I am so sad that you a choosing to do this to yourself. Please Listen to what Sweaty has said and get yourself to the Mental Health in your city. If those med aren't working they will help you find medications that will help you. Often the first medications don't work and you just keep trying until they do. At any rate a therapist is going to be the one that will help you. Please get with someone right away.
