Is ocean water bad for wounds? |
I got burn wounds about 2 weeks ago there pretty much healed up except for one open wound a little bit if i go in the ocean is it bad or would it help heal it faster Actually it is the sea weed dissolved in the ocean that promotes healing. If it is an open wound it will not hurt at all. It may also reduce scarring.Take care and do not worry... I have heard it's good for cuts and scrapes. It makes them heal a little faster. Don't know about if the wound is still open, but don't see how it could hurt it but it might sting some when the water hits it. As long as the ocean is clean it would help it heal. |
