Have deep self inflected wounds. help?

I have these self inflicted wounds on my upper ams. I don't do this anymore but its been almost two years and they still haven't healed very much there like one and a halve to 2 in a half inches long and half an inch wide. there all covered and not bleeding but they itch really bad the smaller they get. and hurt if I scratch.

I tried antibiotic but they only turn them from purple or light red to health pink and have them itch way more. there itching rite now. there sticking out of my skin. I know this sound like horror but I've gotten use to seeing them. anyways I just want them to heal and I haven't met any doc since money is scarce. is there anything out there i can buy to have them heal more??

You should go see a Doctor ASAP they can be infected also since they have not healed over the two years there could be some other medical condition involve such as you maybe a diabetic (diabetics are slow healers and are prone to infection) There are millions of people who are diabetic and don't know that they are.

No Money can not by life

Good Luck

For years I was a cutter. I have scars on my forearms, wrists, and thighs. These won't go completely away, but they do get lighter with time and aren't really noticeable, unless you point it out. I had a deep cut I didn't get stitches for and so the scar is very noticeable, but there isn't much you can do but learn to live with them. I'm glad you quit doing self harm.

sorry to say, it sounds like an infection, you must see a doctor before it gets worse and causes real health problems....try a free clinic.

How much is your health worth? An office visit should cost to much!

I also used to be a cutter many years ago, try keeping your cuts moisterised, try E45 itch cream, but stop scratching they will get infected, good luck, i know how hard it is to stop cutting.

sounds like they are infected, you really should find a way to see a doctor, try free clinics etc.

When you tried the antibiotic ointment did you use the pain relief kind? I often use it because I'm allergic to bug bites. It stops the itching! If there aare red lines running UP your arm, then they are infected Run don't walk to nearest ER.
