Urine for cleaning wounds? |
Can you clean your wounds by peeing in them? I think I read that somewhere I read that too, but I do not necessarily believe it. no, it's for a jellyfish sting, not a wound. the urine takes the pain away. Even though urine IS sterile and acidic (provided you don't have an infection), I wouldn't recommend this. Urine is absolutely sterile so yes indeed this works. Part of military survival training technique. Honey works well as well sterile too with some anti-biotic properties. |
