Is it a disease to have wounds in your butt because of sitting too long?

well I was worried when I heard that the bones in your hip will sank to your butt making the bones go out from the wounds eee!!! creepy! pls. help! it's a pain to sit...

They are called pressure sores. They are caused by being in the same position for too long. Poor circulation, older age, and poor nutrition (causing thinner skin therefore you don't have as much cushioning) are all risk factors for pressure sores. You should see a doctor if you actually have wounds as these wound can turn into ulcers which are very hard to heal and yes can go as deep as the bone.

No, just a disorder. It's called galls or bedsores. And you're right, eee!!!

If you are getting bed sores on your butt might I suggest you get your a** out of the chair!!!

They are called bed sores, and you have to be bed-ridden for a very long time, in the same position to get these.

I have seen them and they are no joke. The skin literally comes off and part of inner tissues too. And yes, it can erode to reach the bones.

Terribly painful. Very difficult to treat.

No its not a disease but a result from lack of circulation. If you really have them then you need to get your a$$ OUT OF BED OR THE CHAIR and go to the doctor. They can go to the bone and are difficult to treat.
Good Luck

yes it is a disease.
massage your *** or strech and walk every once in a while. also helps if your chair has a cushion
