My cat has become sick. She has 2 open wounds on her side, and it looks like abysses.?

My cat was fine the other night, but now she has become very sick. She will barely touch her food and water except for a few bites of food. She has been sleeping since we brought her in the barn about 4-6 hours ago. She has pain all the way from the middle of her stomach to between her front legs. She also has 2 open wounds on the middle of her stomach. It was draining blood and puss, plus it is really hard around them and her stomach is all bloated like. She is really lovey and playful, but right now she doesnt want anyone to touch her and she meows when you come towards her. We also have another cat that usually comes and plays with her, but now she just comes and smells her like something is wrong and then she runs away.

If you do not want your kitty to die, take her to a vet today.

sounds like she got into a cat fight and the wounds are from teeth. They get extremely infected from a cat's filthy mouth and she needs medical attention from a vet. Antibiotics and there is the possibility that the teeth entered far enough to rupture or tear an intestine.

Deffinately a textbook case of headcrabs.

your cat needs a vet right away....

The sores you describe do sound like abscesses. She is very, very sick and needs to see the vet pronto. Good luck.

Please get your cat attention from a vet as soon as possible. She needs antibiotics and to have her wounds cleaned and drained. Please don't attempt to clean the wounds yourself since she may have internal injuries too. Her wounds have abcessed and she is probably running a fever which is why she's listless and sleeping a lot. My dog was in a similiar situation and his wounds were caused by teeth tearing and these are the dirtiest wounds an animal can get. Good luck.
