Seat belt wounds from car accident, should I go to the hospital?

I was resently in an accident and my seat belt was across the lower quadrints of my stomach and now it hurts. It will vary from dull pain to a sharp stabing pain.

Yes. That is the ugly secret about seat belts. They cause injuries and trauma as well.

Black and blue marks are the LEAST thing they can create.

Massive organ displacement and internal damage is common.

Broken ribs as well.

yes, do see a doctor, as you could have injured yourself

Yes! Go now!

I'd go..health care here is pretty much free. In your case tho. maybe worry about the $$ later, okay?
