Plasma Grenade Wounds? |
My friends and I were messing around in my back yard today...we love to play halo 3 a lot (it's probably the best game ever made) and in halo 3 there are "plasma grenades". Today my friends and I made our own plasma grenade of sorts using a hollowed out grapefruit and filled it with aluminum foil and gasoline. To "arm" it we put it in a microwave but as soon as we pushed the start button, the plasma grenade exploded and blew up my microwave. Luckily we were smart and tried this outside first, other wise my house would have burned down! But anyways, pieces of the plasma grenade covered my jeans and arms and burned me quite severely. Should this be treated any differently than a regular grenade due to the fact that plasma is involved? I haven't gone to a doctor yet, but my arm is in a lot of pain. First off WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING!!!!!!!!!! or better yet were you thinking????!!!!????? and yah you better bet would be to go to the doctor and try and explain it to him/her i'm sure their probably gonna say just about the same thing, your lucky you didn't get youselfs killed!!! go to the doctor or the ER depending on the nature of the burn i hoped this experience has knocked a little bit of sense into the brain of yous and again GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!! There was no "plasma" involved, it was an ordinary burn caused by very hot material. The sooner you go to an ER the sooner you will be out of pain. Yes, you should go to the doctors. If any grapefruit got on the burns you are at a high risk for infection. Take off the shirt you are wearing and get some icy hot cream and cover your shirt in it. Then wrap your shirt around your arm very tightly, with the icyhot on the burns. The icyhot will fight the infection the grapefruit has started. Then call the number on the icyhot container. Tell the people you have been badly burned and have applied icyhot to your burns. They will hang up. Count to ten and you should hear a knock at your door. Open it. Before you should stand Shaquille O'neil. He will instruct you to get on his back, get on. He will then box out, post up, and rebound his way to the hospitable, thus saving your life. [face_laugh] laughed so hard i started crying. I was young once and liked to play with stuff that would catch fire and explode but the idea of a plasma grenade from halo3 is just plain hilarious. Still laughing!!! |
