Why do wounds heal faster when they are bandaged? |
because of the air, light? no- the air is what helps them heal. Cover it until a scab forms to protect it then let the air at it. if u live near the surf the best cure is have a swim don't wipe and let the sun do the rest Depending on the nature of the bandage, they actually slow healing. However, many wounds cannot be left open at risk of damaging them further from physical trauma. depends on the wound...how deep is the wound? ask a pharmacist if ur not sure, or the dr. (of course) Coz they remain aseptic. wounds do not heal faster when covered up |
