Women's health question...? |
I have a question concerning a problem that I have. I have worn the ring the last five years and I started having a pain up near my cervix. I went to the doctor and he took me off the ring and put me on the pill saying the ring had irrated that area and after three months it would be fine. However, the pain has gotten worse. I have been to two specialist in the last month and one family doctor. It feels like there is something there, but the ultrasound never showed anything. I was told then that i had a viral infection. But I just don't know. I was thinking it would get better by now, this has been almost 2 months. Has anyone else ever gone through this, ever heard of this? I mean, it really, really hurts. Any suggestions would be appreciated. My best friend was on the ring and went off it because she got a terrible infection and almost ended up in the hospital being septic. Go to your doctor and if he cannot give you any answers then go to the emergency room and INSIST that they figure out what is wrong. My friends doc told her that there was nothing wrong as well. but she knew different and it saved her life. |
