Can You Get Whooping Cough Twice?

ehhh.
I've had whooping cough before, once last year.
And lately in the past couple days, I've been coughing up a storm, and I remember that happening with the whoop, so, I was wondering, any one know if I can catch it twice?

Also, Bordetella parapertussis, mycoplasma and certain adenoviruses can produce an illness similar to whooping cough. So a person may think that he or she has had the illness more than once.

Finally, adolescents and adults may have whooping cough without the characteristic whoop. This occurs commonly, and these persons are largely responsible for spreading the disease to infants.

im pretty sure you can get it twice. i remember having it multiple times throughout my life
