Im sick...whooping cough? |
I've been running a fever and I have aches and chills and common symptoms of a cold. It's different though, I cough so much until im practically blue in the face. Ive been throwing up also after coughing. Could I have whooping cough? and if so, what should I do about it? Um, go to see a doctor? In the meantime, run a humidifier so the air in you room is not dry and do not lie on your back. Avoid dairy products and drink hot clear liquids. Breath slowly and don't over exert yourself, and when you feel you need to cough try to control it by breathing slowly and swallowing. Also breath through your nose and not through your mouth (it dries out your throat if you breath through your mouth and causes you to cough more). You were probably vaccinated for whooping cough(pertussis). Sounds like you have an infection, maybe pneumonia. See a Dr...soon. It is probably bronchitis or pnemonia. Whatever it is, it will not go away on its own. Go see the doctor. You should go to the doctor, especially if you've had a fever for awhile. The coughing could be a sign of tuberculosis, which I've heard is coming back. gget to c a doc http://www.home-remedies-for-you.com/rem... |
