I have whooping cough, its really annoying and i want to get rid of it, any ideas.? I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse and you cannot get rid of it it is a virus that has to run its course and you should have consulted a Dr to have it confirmed, have you done this if not how do you know what you have, you could just have the croup. Whooping cough is contagious so stay at home until you are almost clear of it.It can also damage the lungs I don't know how old you are,but you should definitely see a doc.Whopping cough is no fun.He might give you some cough syrup with codeine in it,to make the coughing a bit easier on you. i agree see a docter i had it as a child along with asthma i was told to cut out oranges they help you to stop coughing The disease has to take its course. Steer clear of milk products as much as possible and if you have not already seen a doctor make sure to see one soon. |
