Does the whooping cough vaccination wear off or is for life.?

Does the whooping cough vaccination wear off or is for life.?

yes it does, also this is true of any vaccine as strains of virus and infectious disease mutate through time to be resilant to anti-biotics. the most classic example of this is the flu, although once u have had a certain stain of flu for example h5n1 then the body builds immmunity to it, but next year you still get the flu again because the flu mutates into h5n12

hope this anwsers your question:P

Children and adults can catch pertussis (whooping cough) even if they were vaccinated in the past because vaccine immunity wanes over time

The immunity from the vaccine is expected to last 6-10 years.

I only ever had one so it must be for life.
