Help with intense neck pain from whiplash!!!!?

i went on the ride in vertigo at Great America and got whiplash. Ouch! It has rendered me in capable of carrying simple objects like a backpack or mygroceries. My range of motion is very limited. when i turn or tilt my head foeward, it hurts soo bad. my doctor told me to take an asprin. Much help that does. and it's not a long term solution. I think i'll visit my chiro soon. any suggestions as to what ELSE i can do?

massage and physio can help. i had the same over a year ago and i still hurt. i am still seeing a chiro every week, it feels good for a day or two. hope you feel better soon.
