Questions about men in wheelchairs? |
hello. i am doing research for a novel, and i have some questions about wheelchairs, particularly the experience for a man. what i'd really like is to find someone who knows about this with whom i may exchange emails, as i have lots of questions and need to learn so much. but the first things i want\need to know are: i answered your email =). i'll help the best thing that i can tell you is go to a nursing home and interview some handicap people A neighbor of my Cousins' was in a wheel chair and he got sores all over his legs and they were infected because he was in a wheel chair, the infection went throughout his body, he could not walk at all, could not help himself, he ended up in a nursing home, lost everything he had. I cannot say anything about his sex life, though, sorry. I just know he was a veteran and lost the use of his legs. He was a young guy, too. |
