Fat People And Electric Wheelchairs?!?

Ok...
Now I understand that some people are overweight and even obese for medical conditions... But today while I was at the beach I saw this fat lady she must have been pushing 350, going towards the boardwalk... when she tried to go up the ramp her little motor couldn't take it and stopped. So she hopped off the Jazzy and pushed it up the ramp.. now this ramp is pretty steep, and I have trouble riding a bike up it. Then she she reached the top of it she plopped her fat @$$ back into the seat and went over to the Boardwalk Fries, ordered a large, then proceded to eat them as she cruised down the boards... now the question is... if she could walk that thing up a huge ramp with no problems.. why can't she just stop being lazy and walk like a normal person??

I agree. Only a small percentage of these obese people are fat because of a medical problem. They eat and eat and eat and have many people convinced that they have a new kind of eating disorder. Ok, fine. They have an eating disorder. However, if they'd get off their butts and get some exercise, they wouldn't be as large as they are, even with their "eating disorder". What's next, will they claim they have a "laziness" disorder, too?

Probably because she wouldn't make it to the Boardwalk if she walked all the way. What I don't understand is why she ordered large fries.
Sigh... some people just really don't get it.

Carrying 350 lbs is a major stress on the back and knees. She may be able to walk short distances (up the ramp), but is limited. I wouldn't say that she's lazy and carrying 350 lbs isn't a "normal" person. True the fries weren't the best choice, some overweight, obese and morbidly obese think that there's nothing else they can do, may as well enjoy the food. Not knowing the persons condition/medical history you're judging them by your few minutes of observation. Just because a person is overweight/obese does not mean they don't enjoy the same things that "normal" people do such as enjoying time at the beach or on the boardwalk or what ever they want if their electric scooter/wheel chair can get them there. They, as well as any person on this earth, have the right to enjoy what makes them happy as long as it's legal and doesn't hurt anyone else.
