Wheelchair excersize...? |
can you do sit ups and push ups with a bullet in your back? does anyone know of any good websites for excersizing in a wheelchair??? i was in wheelchair for almost a month in december-janurary and i did pushups - just sit in it and lift your body - it doesnt put any stress on other parts of your body except arms I would suggest talking with a physical therapist but if that is not an option you can easily adapt upper body workouts to your chair. Water aerobics is also a really good option, your community college or public swimming pool should offer something. |
