Where can i get a wheelchair for free in British Columbia? |
I need to get a wheelchair and i dont have one and i was woundering where i would be able to get one. you might be able to get one from the Red Cross i think....i think thats the organization...i'm not entirely sure anymore. but if you're around vancouver there is a location just off of bridgeport rd in Richmond and they let you rent things like walkers, comodes, crutches and other goodies for free. last i was there i saw some wheelchairs and im assuming they're for free too! call your local hospital and ask a nurse, or call the BC nurse line 604-215-4700 or 1-866-215-4700 (outside lower mainland) |
