My child has been referred to the wheelchair service?

why would a child be referred to a wheelchair service and what would the criteria be

is he she disabled?
has he she had an accident of some sort?
realy need more info please?

presumably he has some traumatic injury or disability or illness and needs a wheelchair for mobilisation?
