Is the west nile virus dangerous? |
I recently went to topanga park in los angeles and saw a sign there when I went deep inside the park to warn you about mosquitos that carry the west nile virus. I also had a lot mosquitos around me that bit me. is there any danger? its rare that you would contract it from a mozzy, they have to put it there for legal reasons, but this is like any mozzy you can catch stuff from. but it is rare- if your immune system is strong and you are healthy your body will fight th virus away....and the mozzies that bit you probably werent carrying the virus anyway!! |
