Can you instantly die of the West Nile Virus?

The West Nile Virus(for people who don't know its a disease carried by mosquitoes)is dangerous I know, but as soon as you get bitten can you die instantly, and if not are there any medicines to cure it permanetly? What are the symptoms? Please answetr my questinons, thank you.

People that develop severe illness require hospitalization, where they receive supportive care, such as intravenous fluids to avoid dehydration and antibiotics to prevent other infections.

symptoms range from a mild, flulike illness, including fever, headache, muscle and joint pain, and a red, bumpy rash, to meningitis, in which the membranes that cover the brain and spinal cord swell. In rare cases those infected will develop encephalitis, which can cause high fever, a stiff neck, disorientation, paralysis, convulsions, coma, and, in about 10 percent of cases, death. Humans most at risk for severe illness include those over age 50 and those with a weakened immune system.
