I think I may have West Nile Virus.?

Last Sunday I was at a friend's house and was bitten by a mosquito. When I came home late sunday night, I did not feel well and I awoke rather tired and felt sick with a sore throat. I stayed in bed and have been home from school all week.

On tuesday and wensday I felt very tired and my muscles ache still. I've had a coming and going headache all week. Are these signs of West Nile? Thanks.

Sorry guys, I forgot to add, I saw my doctor on Tuesday, who at first though it was mono. I'm going to get some blood testing done.

These are signs of the flu, as well as probably dozens of other viruses and diseases. If you are still feeling under the weather tomorrow, see a doctor.

I think you should go see a doctor as soon as possible. My sister in-law also had those symtoms and it was horrible for her she was sick for a long time before they figured out she had the west nile virus. Shes ok now but it took her a long time to get better like a really bad flu kind of with lots of head aches.

Well it has been nice knowing you...

No seriously, if you think you have West Nile, it is best to see a doctor. As one of my instructors said, he can't figure out what's wrong with you unless he sees you in person.

I'll check with my teachers later today and I'll post the answer later tonight..

Update, she said go to the doctor if you are not feeling well.

Go and see your Doctor asap.

YOU HAVE MONO. WEST NILE VIRUS IS A GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACY TO SCARE PEOPLE. I'VE BEEN BITTEN BY PLENTY OF MOSQUITOES AND NEVER GOTTEN IT. BESIDES THEY HAVE A VACCINATION FOR IT NOW. DUH.
