Good question but no.
Denge Fever or Denge Hemorrhagic Fever is actually four different types/strains of the virus ( One can get all four) and is spread by the same mosquito that carries Yellow Fever.
DHF type 2 is the strain that has established itself in North America.

West Nile is a single "Japanese " type virus and has a propensity to cause meningitis rather than internal bleeding.
In addition, it is largely transmitted by and lethal to animals (including horses) but mostly birds and mosquitoes that have fed upon them.

I hope that this helps differentiate the 2 (5) diseases: Bottom line: Avoid mosquitoes and dead birds and animals
