Q. Is Florida prepared for west nile virus? |
Q. Is Florida prepared for west nile virus? 10% of the people bitten get sick and 1% of them ( that is 1/100th of a 1/10th or one in a 1000 ) get really sick - so what is there to prepare for I think Florida needs to worry more about hurricane preparation. who cares? a very small % of people who get it will even know. and of that small % only a few will die if treated. The real question is are people healthy enough to deal with it. Drugs aren't the only answer to sickness. I guarantee you if a healthy person (I don't mean what people normally consider healthy, I mean someone who eats organic foods, little or no toxins, doesn't take any medication) were to contract West Nile, they would show no symptoms of it. You're exposed to hundreds of sicknesses daily, whether you succumb to them or not is a test of your body's health |
