What weight training work outs should i do to lose inches???????????????????????


When i think of weight training i think of lifting weights for your arms and legs..... How does lifting weights make your stomach toned??.So what workouts will make me lose inches??. Ive been told cardio will not do it... so can i please have some excersises that will do this. ( i do cardio 4-5 times a week, pilates and weight training class. Its not that i wanna lose weight i just wanna lose a dress size. to keep in mind im 5'8 144 and 19

The most you can do to tone your stomach is crunches, but you will be unable to see the muscle unless you burn fat by doing cardio. As a woman, I prefer to call it strength training because I don't care to lift heavy weights and bulk up and you don't necessarily need weights. I love the resistance bands and they travel well. So if you're trying to lose inches in your waist...continue with your cardio and try to do at least 100 crunches everyday.
